Taki's Greek Kitchen

Food was very good. We ordered 8 appetizers so had the opportunity to try many of the items. Entrees strong... Service was very good, too. (Darien) One negative that keeps us away from five-star ratings: their 3% upcharge on credit card transactions. Only mentioned right when we are getting card out, and with 7 of us I didn't have the $600 in cash. Card fees are à cost of doing business... This fee left a bad taste in our mouth, and I hope mgt reads this and others speak up.

My wife and I LOVE Taki's (even though they no longer offer the Greek pizza, which I crave to this day...). The staff at Taki's is amazing, always being friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and always do whatever it takes to ensure a great experience. The food is some of the best around. Always fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The only thing I dislike about Taki's is trying to decide on what to order amongst their extensive menu offerings and daily specials. I could go on and on with my own recommendations, but it's basically the entire menu. Definitely try the octopus though. To die for. Great atmosphere, great crowd, and truly a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit, as they never disappoint.

I was in town visiting from a more rural area of the US and put "good Greek food" on my to do list while visiting. Found this place and OMG!!! So good, we went back twice in 4 days. This is the real deal, not a takeaway away gyro shop. So many truly authentic dishes on the menu, I wish I had more time to go back and try more of them. I am going spell everything wrong here, I'm sure. Had Dolamades and Mousaka one night. Spanokapita, the flambe cheese, and the lamb shank with orzo next night. Others had a shrimp and beef kabob special, and a lamb ragu, plus we had signature cocktails and wine. Unbelievable!!! Our servers, wish I could remember their names, were both wonderful and knowledgeable, and greatfully put up with us asking a million questions. Oh and the dessert! Of course we said no, being so full, but then decided to get one for the table to share and ended up getting into a spoon fight over it and licking the plate clean. Cannot recommend this place enough. It is the true meaning of a Hidden gem. If you have family in town visiting, this is the place to take them. They cook like family & treat you like family, and you'll leave with a smile on your face.

A great place for a great Greek authentic meal. There are plenty of appetizers on the menu, and those alone can make for a great meal. The grilled meats come in big portions with plenty of sides, all well presented. The seating options are also plentiful. There's a bar, tables, and an outside patio. Prices are high, but the overall experience is worth the price.

One of the best restaurants I have ate at it in a while! Everything we tried was amazing! 10/10!!!! Run don’t walk!!!

Absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Loved the Kotopoulo Sto Fourno and Arni Youvetsi. Meat was fall off the bone tender and Ekmek for dessert was wonderful.
